Born in Mexico City and trained as an architect, I began my practice with a deep fascination for form, proportion, and materiality. Architecture taught me about systems and logic; art revealed emotion, symbolism, and fragility. Today, both worlds converge — each work becomes an exploration of the human condition through matter and form.

vision
I believe in form as a universal language.
Each material speaks differently about what it means to be human:
bronze preserves memory, concrete expresses structure, wood breathes the organic.
Sculpture, architecture, and design are not separate fields, but variations of the same search —
understanding how we inhabit space, body, and thought.

ABOUT / CV SECTION
Andrés Escalante is a Mexican architect and sculptor whose practice unfolds at the intersection of geometry, material, and emotion. Trained at Universidad Iberoamericana, his work ranges from architectural design to sculpture, exploring the dualities that define the human experience — order and chaos, precision and intuition.
As lead designer at POSTENSA LGS, he has contributed to architectural and modular projects such as Cross Cabin and POINT, integrating concept, structure, and fabrication. His artistic work, represented by the series Geometría Antropomórfica, continues this investigation through matter, merging geometric logic with organic sensitivity.
Currently based in Mexico City, Andrés develops architectural, artistic, and design projects that share a single intention: to give form to emotion.
